SAFE DOORS FOR BATHROOMS IN MENTAL HEALTH

Strong magnets are hidden safely within the door frame to hold the door firmly in everyday use. Still, if ligature is attempted, an anti-ligature release design detaches the door to disrupt the attempt.

SAFE AND PRACTICAL ENSUITE DOOR

The anti-ligature magnetic pivots can be installed on an existing door frame in under 60 minutes - making it equally suitable for new builds or as a retrofit solution.

PATIENT RECOVERY AT THE FOREFRONT OF DESIGN

Saloon-style door design allows for clinical observation without disrupting the patient, preserving the patient's privacy and dignity and aiding recovery.

EASY DOOR REATTACHMENT

If the door becomes removed during an incident, it's extremely easy to get it reattached; just position the door nibs near the frame slots, and self-locating magnets within the frame will do the rest.

No special equipment or skills are required, making it a perfect solution for a busy mental health ward.

Is the door fire tested?

Yes. It passes both BS EN 597 and BS EN 1021 match flame equivalent.

Is the door water resistant?

Yes. The outer PVC material is splash resistant, and the doors' edges are bonded to protect the internal foam.

Does it pass infection control?

Yes. It scored highly, given the PVC leaves can be easily wiped clean, and there are no stitched edges which can be a significant infection risk.
