Anti-ligature and shatter-resistant, they offered superior safety for service users, whilst the lightweight, detachable parts made ineffective weapons, minimising the risk to the staff at Newbridge.
Creating a homely environment
Similar to the bathroom fittings you'd find in your own house, the anti-ligature fittings also helped to create a homely environment for service users – restoring dignity, creating a sense of normalcy and aiding the recovery process for the children and young people in Newbridge House.
