Returning to reality after the Christmas holidays can sometimes be tough – Christmas is over, the New Year is over, and getting the brain back into gear can be slower than usual. But, there’s no denying that the New Year marks an exciting time too – another year of new opportunities ahead.
And this New Year brought with it a significant milestone as I celebrate my 10-year anniversary at Safehinge Primera – how time flies when you're having fun.
As part of the warehouse team in Blackpool, I'm mainly involved in the assembly of our lockset, load release and window products ensuring they meet our strict quality standards and are delivered safely to our customers. No small task when you think that these products could save a life one day.
One particular highlight over these past ten years was being part of the development of our 5-way SOS (Staff Override System).
And throughout this time, I've also witnessed the company grow extensively, joining forces with the Safehinge team in 2016. Our warehouse team has also grown, with Di and Peter now working here with me.
I'm extremely proud to have been a part of the company's journey over the past 10 years and look forward to the next 10.
